How do I change my phone number?

The ‘Change Number’ feature allows you to change the phone number associated with your Capitalyze® account even if you’re using the same device. This feature should be used before you verify your new number.

Using the Change Number feature in Capitalyze® will:

o Migrate your account information (including your transaction information), logs and settings from your old phone number to your new phone number
o Change your old phone number associated with MFs and AMFI data, so it is reflected on all future communication or statements

Before starting the Change Number process:

o Make sure your new phone number can receive SMSs and has an active data connection
o Make sure your old phone number is currently verified in Capitalyze® on your phone
o You can see what number is verified in Capitalyze® by navigating to
Capitalyze® > More > Settings and tapping on your profile

Note: When you change your registered Capitalyze® phone number, we will inform all associated MFs, and other Agencies as required by AMFI.

To change your phone number in Capitalyze®, follow these steps:

o Insert the new SIM card with the new number into your device
o Open Capitalyze®
o Go to Capitalyze® > More options > Settings > Account > Change number
o Enter your new phone number in the box at the bottom
o Tap Verify
o You’ll be prompted to verify your new phone number
